Another Cigarette

by Amber   Dec 15, 2006

Last night I lay awake, just looking at you
So peaceful yet troubled
Frustration builds inside as restlessness envelops me
I desire to be held but you lay in slumber
Smoking another cigarette I gaze at you
Wondering what you're dreaming
I cuddle close breathing you in
Praying I awake in the morning
Your face, your voice, your touch arouses me
Sleep departs as my eyes open
There you are smiling
Holding you, kissing you, loving you
Smiles can\'t help but cross my face
Today is a good day.
