Blue Christmas

by Mousie   Dec 16, 2006

This Christmas season
A blur are the lights,
For the tears that we cry
Cause no longer a delight.

Holly jolly is fake
And the cheer is masked,
By the fate of this child
And the shadow it's cast.

Someday it will return
To bright red and green,
And by the light of an angel
She will certainly gleam.

But until that day
When her guardian do appear,
The saddened family hearts
Mask Christmas with fear.

my little cousin has cancer and some other things wrong with her along with something wrong with her heart, so this is more of a sad christmas. today i started singing blue christmas and got this poem idea, tell me what you think. pray for her please.
