Nobody should have to go through this during the Christmas time, no one should have to go through any type of pain. =[
You had a wonderful flow and perfect imagery, I kept having pictures pop up in my mind.

Wow this poem is filled with emotion. What an wonderful write. The flow and structure where excellent.

This line, "And the shadow it's cast" I believe should be changed to this, "And the shadow it casts"

Also this line, "When her guardian do appear" Should be changed to, "When her guardians do appear" OR "When her guardian does appear"

Other than those two minor mistakes, I think this was an wonderful Poem. Keep up the good work.

i can relate some how to wat your going through though in a way, because my father just past a way from cancer i mean yea he's not here right now with it but he had it for along time..... well hope everything turns out okay best wishes to you, your cousin and family.....

Very beautiful and sad. i really did like it. but i wish their was more. i think you should expand to add mroe depth. it doesn't seem very personal and what you worte at the end makes me think it should be. =[
