Moon Memories

by LenaLee   Dec 16, 2006

Smile, smile for me,
If you really do feel
the emotions of glee,
Let your laugh resurface.

Memories,
Such gentle grace,
Ignored and wasted,
Is this how it's meant to be?

My feelings never been heard,
Hidden inside darkness,
Forgotten all the same,
A fearful wonder of mystery.

If my true feelings were
To be revealed,
No one would acknowledge,
Frozen fate inevitable.

If my memories would fade,
My life would have no meaning.

So let there be laughter,
Smiles and serenity,
And let me express what I truly feel.

No one understands,
But the moon.
Silently nodding,
Replying with the ripples in the ocean

The moon has reminded
Me of the lost times,
Where i should of spoke up,
Where i was afraid,
Alone and singing,
No one understands.

Shining moon light shows
Nothing but hope,
The hope i will grasp,
For eternity,
Memories form,
Hurtful feelings come back,
Moon Memories.
