DADDY

by shannon   Dec 16, 2006

I remember when i was so small
i had to look up at you for you were so tall
your hands were so big compared to mine
and when i cried you were there so i knew i was fine

i remember when we used to play cards
you used to win and i would take it so hard
i remember when boys had the cooties
and you were the only man in my life

i remember playing pretty pretty princess
and you always wore the crown
i remember going to work with you
and playing on your computer

Those are memories now for I am growing up
I was your little girl but guess what? I still am!!
In fifty years to come I'll still be your little girl
And youll still be my daddy the one who i cherish and i love
