Roaming Soul

by catherine   Dec 17, 2006

Not the people,
Nor the place.
It is the life,
With a non-showing face.

The places I travel,
Are empty and lost.
I wish to flee,
Or it is my life's cost.

I am not sad,
Or depressed.
I am just lost and lonely,
Confused and suppressed.

I do not belong.
But that's fine with me.
Cause I am a roaming soul,
Which will forever be free.

    "I am not sad,
    Or depressed.
I am just lost and lonely,
Confused and suppressed." I would describe that as sad and depressed, but I like your definition. Great poem, 5/5!
