Marrissa

by Michael D Nalley   Dec 17, 2006

Marrissa Mabee, tall and delightfully slender
Genuine credit to her fine feminine gender
Practically witty, yet wonderfully pretty
Versatile and adaptable from country to city

Beautifully she moves with a little twist
Easy does it, you know, it's all in the wrists
Eloquently performing with discipline
She is sharp as a tack, and as neat as a pin

Features smooth, soft complexion fair
A sense of serenity surrounded by care
Maybe she has learned to totally relax
To patiently tolerate inconsiderate acts

Seems to believe in the power of choices
That a mind should listen to the voices
Of responsibility, no one is exempted
Although she admits we all are tempted

Duty is as natural to her as being alive
I know she will always naturally strive
To obey God's will to be the best
Oh lord, if we could all be so blest

Wow, Like always, I loved it. Your poems are always so full of emotion and the Flow was just outstanding. The Rhyming was subperb, and the structure was great. You have a lot of talent, keep the the excellent work.
