The Statues

by xPerfect Chaosx   Dec 17, 2006

The darkness is complete
The screams echo
Through the trees
The running footsteps
Echo loudly
Are the only thing heard
Except the eternal screaming
The trees whip faces
Grab clothes and pull you into them
The darkness is complete
And nothing can escape
Everything is turned to stone
Shadows of what they once were
Running footsteps
Through the graveyard of statues
The only thing not turned to stone
When the darkness was complete.
The pain forces it on
Running for all eternity
Running from all the problems
Running from all the pain
Running from all the memories
The statues plead with silent eyes
They reach out with cold hands
But the running can't stop
Then the pain, the memories, the problems will return
They plead, help us, release us
From the darkness
Their silent eyes pleading
Their stone hearts breaking
Their cold hands grabbing.
Running, running,
Never stopping
Can't stop the world
It's turning backwards
And all is turned to stone
The darkness is complete
Running, running can't stop
The darkness is complete
The pain is to much
The memories are there
The problems don't go away
The stone hands grabbing
Pulling it into eternal slumber
Haunted by nightmares
Unable to wake
Like the statues
Like the running
Can't stop, too much pain
The silent eyes pleading
The stone hearts breaking
The cold hands reaching

I know it really doesn't make any sense, but well, rate and comment please!!!!!!
