You Taught Me

It seems like not to long ago,
I was your baby,
I was your lover.
You chose to leave,
you chose to escape.
You said I was yours,
forever and always.
All you would say was
"I'm mad at you"
It was more than a year ago,
and I still don't know why we broke up.
I can't tell you the pain you caused.
I told you,
"You have my heart"
I wasn't playing when I said that.
