What is it about Me?

What is it about me,
that you can't love?
Don't make me wait
Till I'm in heaven above.

I'm so tired of always
trying, begging and pleading.
What I'm trying to tell you,
It's your love that I'm needing.

What I'm asking for,
really isn't that much.
A nice friendly smile,
Or a warm loving touch.

So what are the things,
that you can't see?
My looks may have changed,
But I'm still the same ME
