Listen to my voice
Look into my eyes
Tell me what you see
And tell me no lies

Don't talk as if I'm not there
Don't insult my mind
Be careful what you say
Don't be unkind

Think of my feelings
Don't treat me bad
Be honest with me
Don't make me mad

Answer my questions
Make me feel welcome
Listen to my opinions
Don't make me feel like scum

For I am only human
I have feelings too
Although we're very different
I'm a lot like you
