Personal Disguise

by -A LOVE GONE COLD-   Dec 17, 2006

Take one look at me
through my eyes
and you'll just see
how i hide in my own personal disguise

day in a day out
i skip meals to be her
i know what it feels like to be talked about
i wish there was just one final cure

you define me with just one look
im more than just bones, blood, skin
its like you read me like a book
with one less bite, i can feel myself start to thin

my mirror image, through my eyes:
big teeth, big nose, big ears
tighten the stomach, decrease the thighs
dieing unhappy is my biggest fear

food's no longer appealing
its me, myself, that im suddenly hating
so this is how i started dealing
remember: my feelings are ever-lasting

you see me as twig skinny
and i see imperfection
my life seems way to blotchy
its the need to take some action

my secret remains to you forbidden
locked inside my own skeleton, i nagger
its a part of my life that ill keep hidden
for tomorrow, my routine, ill start all over

^^so i probably need some help on this, if you have any suggestions, just comment- thanks!

    Hey doll,
okay your on the right track.
Some of your rhymes are too forced tho and they don't sound like the right rhymes, trying widening your vocabulary and picking different words for those parts or something. Your sentence's very length so one is too short and one is to long their flow the rythem and flow is a bit off. You've got alot of stuff in your poem that has already been wrote about so i suggest you add your own little pazzaz( or w.e haha) to it.. make it yours and make it come alive, make the reader want to keep reading write lines that they wont be able to forget. Again the vocabulary can help there too.

    Later darling.
    good luck.
