Growing up together
A thing that seems obscene
I grew up with them
And they grew up with me

We never talked in real life
All we'd do was chat
They were some of my only friends
Who'd never call me fat

A lot of times I'd miss them
Much more than real-life friends
I'd keep them longer, too
Friendship like that barely ends

Growing up together
We shared our thoughts and dreams
We grew to know each other
Our bonds were just so sweet

Growing up together
We are together still
Our number has quadrupled
But huge friendships are a thrill

Growing up together
Is better than alone
I'm glad I've met my "other" friends
They're the ones that give me hope
