Love addiction

My heart aches as i turn to say goodbye,
Every minute without him makes me want to cry,
i long for him more than any other,
I'd die for him but why?

Every second i spend close to my special lover,
is time I'd rather not spend with any other,
his name is the only that pours from my lips,
I am but addicted to him but why?

His face is who greets me when i close my eyes,
I can not stop thinking of him even though I try,
throughout this poem my thoughts have been to just one person,
my mind is but a slave to him but why?

If I tried to live without this guy,
I'm sure I'd truly fail,
Is this love or just another teenage fairytale?
