Birthday Thanks

There is a person in your life, who holds you very dear,
There is nothing he wouldnt do for you, you have nothing to fear.
What he does not realize though, is that you've helped him so very much,
You've helped him to feel like human, to feel the burn of touch.
You've woken the love inside him, and taught him how to care,
If you hadnt come to live, his heart would be so bare.
You're the reason he continues to wake, and live from day to day,
You're the reason he smiles, and breathes in every way.
I am so blessed to have met you, and felt the joy you give,
Cause not only have you helped him, you've helped me want to live.
I want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all that you have done,
And to wish you a Happy Birthday, hope it is a special one.
