Where Angels Gather

by Hannah Emellia   Dec 18, 2006

In the harbor of foreboding,
Blackened wings unfold,
Angels here they gather,
Where darkest pasts are told,

In these cursed places,
Bloody tears are shed,
Hope forever fading,
Rivers all run red........

With the telling of each story,
Cold will settle over all,
Such is now the ugly tale
Of a demon's pride and fall.

Although very short it was very likeable! The flow and rhymes made it easier to read and the first stanza, I think, is the best!
    Good write!

    Short and to the point
And what a point you made!

"Such is now the ugly tale
Of a demon's pride and fall."

Your wording was spot on with this, you really got the poem to flow like water..
    Well done, brill!
