Sacrifice

I once knew an angel
this angel was lead astray
she was beautiful
could have had a choice of any god

but as everyone knows
every girl loves a bad boy
but she fell for the worst
her lover was a man of evil

he was not worthy of her
this man lives in the fire
he lives in hell
for this man is the devil

and the angel fell for him
she was young and foolish
thought he cared for her
but to him she was just another toy

she was like the rest of the girls to him
he would have his fun with her
then grow tired of her
he will take from her something of the most value

she lost her innocence to him
along with any life she might of ever had
he took her virginity
along with her dignity

after a couple of months
he threw her to the dogs
the ones that live deeper in the flames of hell
after an eternity there she began to awake

she awoke from the horror
and began to search for a way out
when she finally saw the last person who cared
she waded though the flames and magma

this man reached out his hand to aid her
when she grasped it he saved her
as she thanked him a shadow came over to the man
the shadow raised a dark hand that held a knife

it stabbed him in the back then laughed wickedly
the shadow began to take form
as the shadow cam to be
the angel noticed it was the devil

she began to weep
and when the devil took her wrist
and dragged her back to hell
she came to her senses

she began to fight
she cried for help
and finally after moment of screams
the man that saved her once was revived

he rose and grasped the shadow dagger
he walked over to the devil
and reached around him
to put the knife against the devil throat

the man said release this girl
the devil laughed and said No she is mine
then we will fight the man said
so the devil and the immortal man fought

of course as many would know
the devil cant die
and neither can a immortal man
so these two men fought for the angels life forever

the angel had to watch these two fight
as she did she began to weep
she realized that this was her fault
they would continue to fight

after awhile she knew what she had to do
she took the shadow knife
she brought it to her wrist and cut
when the two men took notice only one cried
