Lingering Magic [Christmas]

by Fighter (Ariane L.)   Dec 18, 2006

Through the glass window, I watch the scenery.
The snow's white blanket covers the gray ground,
While the wind whistles its soulful song, sweet melody.
Lights illuminate the otherwise dark street.
Christmas Spirit.

Chimneys exhale their familiar scent, roasting chestnuts.
Trees stand in corners of rooms, awaiting presents,
While branches dance along to the wind's melody.
Magic lingers in the air; Christmas Time.
