Naive

There is a man who had his heart torn apart
he had loved someone so much
he had given her his heart
and would have done anything for her

his love was one sided, for she loved another
soon he figured out her game
but she was becoming a mother
how can he leave her now

then one night he knew what to do
he went to the kitchen
he grabbed not one knife but two
he then returned to her side

he knew the baby shouldn't come
he brought the knives up
and he heard his wife start to hum
he faltered and drew back

he walked back to his sleeping wife
he stood over her and said "bye"
he smiled when there was red on his knife
when his work was done he cut himself
