The blue walls are high and the black troughs are low

by Hunter Scott   Dec 18, 2006

The calm waters flowed freely, speedily questing for knowledge of the world.

A wind kicks up, a child is born, lines of foam and depression and rage and life appear.

The waves are higher; the stakes are higher... a storm of knowledge clouds decisions.

A black sky; black hearts surround.

Rain is falling, and unwanted-wanted answers are crushing.

A fork of lightning; a stab in the heart.

The titans are loosed while the falling begins.

Suddenly, the jailer returns and happiness breaks through. The calm waters flow slowly, weighed down by the burden of sand and rock and black and white and grey and unwanted and welcome.

Just as the sea is oblivious to all of its doings, we are unknowing to life until we experience it.
