Baby , i'm sorry

by endswithgoodbye   Dec 18, 2006

So young
So lost
Look what it cost
A new life
A past mistake
Gone before it had a name to take
A tear falls
A truth she knows
The reason it no longer grows
The innocence
The memory she can't take back
The loss she wishes she could lack
An accident
An act of fate
She asks looking in the mirror with hate
She lost a love
She lost a hope
Couldn't calm the demons that gave her reason to cope
A habit she can't stop
A life come to an end
The guilty conscience she can't mend
her fault
her baby
the endless thoughts of what if and maybe
Herself she couldn't protect it
Herself she can't save
Her body now turned into a silent , empty grave
