Bloody Roses

by Paige Whalen   Dec 18, 2006

Roses blooming here
In this desolate place
Being covered by my bloody tears
Cascading down my face

Always flowing down
In a bed of roses I lay
Tears spattering my gown
I'm not okay

Forever bleeding
Always thinking of you
Never sleeping
Do you think of me too?

My thoughts always go
No matter how I try not to
It really trys to show
That they always revert back to you

I don't want you to see
These bloody roses here
Me drowning in my misery
That's my biggest fear

I shed these bloody tears
Because I love you so much
The sorrow through my heart sears
As I know I can't show you such

Roses around me
Drifting in the moonlight
Hoping you never have to see
This bloody sight

When you look at me
Do you see the true person
That lies underneath?
Or only whats on the outside?

When I see you
I see your face and smile
I see your eyes too
But most of all I see you as you are all the while

I see you everyday
But to tell you how I feel I'm way too shy
So instead alone I stay
And in darkness cry
