Times have changed,

And so have you.

This seems strange,

but somehow I knew.

That it would all go back to the way it used to be.

All because I have hope in you,

and you have faith in me.

I made a promise,

and a promise it shall stay.

Until the day you tell me,

that we don't have to live this way.

We will move on,

and you will see.

that you and me,

are meant to be.

I know all this,

simply because,

I feel your love.

Even through the static fuzz.

Yes, I understand,

that this phone is crap!

But somehow you have still managed to build a trap.

It caught my heart,

it caught my love.

you are the hunter,

and I am the dove.

I flew like an angel,

I drifted like a feather.

But somehow,

I was still attracted to that dark trench coat of leather.

the dark turned me evil.

the feather turned into a knife.

this is all simply because,

you showed me a new way of life.

Now I'm the cat,

that won't stop scratching at your door.

you fed me once,

and now I want more.

you thought you got rid of me,

when I left for a day.

But now I'm back,

and forever I shall stay.

All because it is meant to be this way.
