Stress

by Rachel RTVW   Dec 18, 2006

Oh serentiy, I long for thee
That peaceful feeling to overcome me
"Eliminate stress" the doctor said
But all these worries fill my head
Hopes and dreams, I anticipate
Or how I'm stressed when running late
When money doesn't stretch quite far enough
And raising teenagers, boy that's tough
Someone always wants or needs you
So little time, so much to do
Cooking and cleaning, when will I be done?
Will I have the chance for stress free fun?
Maybe tonight is what I say
When I close my eyes and dream away
But then I awake to an awful mess
I'll never be able to eliminate stress

I would love a stress free day too! Don't think that exists in this world. Good poem.
