Broken

She says your name
I feel my heart stop
You smile at her
My world falls apart.
I listen so intently
On what she has to say
She wants to do something with you
Yeah, that just ruined my day.
You accept her request
And I feel my face burn
Your eyes find mine
So I shuffle my feet and turn.
I hear you say "hold on"
As you walk over towards me
I smile and laugh at my friends
Pretending to be happy.
You ask how I am
I reply that I am fine
But I turn my head the other way
So you don't know that I'm lyin.
You softly touch my arm
But I jerk myself away
You look like your shocked
I wonder what your going to say.
You tell me that your sorry
You love me, you never wanted us to part
But I shake my head in desbelief
And leave you, this time, with a broken heart.
