Apocalypse

by Lenna   Dec 19, 2006

The sun rose that day

just like any other day

but the sun never truely did set

once the sky was light

it was plain to see

that the seas had swept far past their barriers

and fire had rained down like hail for all that past night

the towns were burned and flooded

and the people still living were screaming to the heavens above

then the sky broke apart

and the trumpets blared

and each creature raised high his head

the very earth sighed

and the lifeless rocks muttered

and the trees began to weep

the dead rose from their graves

and walked among the living

the seas boiled

and the rivers ran red

as the sky began to bleed.
