I love you

by Caitlin Fedorak   Dec 19, 2006

Why do I love you? Well that is a simple answer.
Just look at how we fit, it makes my heart beat faster and faster.
Look at these poems I write,
They are my thoughts that keep me up all night.
All I can think of is that heart clenching smile,
All I want is you, even if just for a short while.
When you talk to me, I can barely respond,
For my heart is in my throat, we have this unbreakable bond.
When you smile at me, I can barely breathe.
When your hand brushes mine, everything stops.
When you tell me you love me, it makes my heart throb.
Your touch gives me shivers,
Your kiss makes me weak.
And when you are around me, I can barely speak.
I’m not sure if this is healthy, but I don’t really care.
Because this feeling is wonderful, it is one I can bear.
Just say you love me back, it can’t be that hard,
That’s all I need to hear, or my heart will be scarred.
Because even if you try hide it, I know that its true-
Because if this love I have for you is true…
How can it be possible for you not to love me too?
