Metallic gold trimmings
Barrage of beads
Heels clicking

Lustrous suits
Shiny sequins
Faux coats
Chintzy necklaces

What is beneath
The stylist extrodinaire
Luxury labels
And perfect hair

When she grows old
She loses her shine and glow
But she will never forget
The sacrifice of her soul
