But inside she's screaming

by Hannah Emellia   Dec 19, 2006

She lives her life like a fairy-tale,
All smiles everyday,
Her prince charming by her side,
There's nothing more to say.

Not a scratch on her wrists,
No signs of harm on her skin,
This pain no one could see,
Because the scars are all within.

Soon she'll be married,
And not one night she'll cry,
Oh- She'll get angry,
But, never will she sigh.

This life she was born into,
And she understands,
Just speak those words,
And take his hands.

The perfect girl,
Who wishes she were dreaming,
The perfect love,
But inside she's screaming.

This perfection, oh, she hates it,
And her husband even more,
From the day she was born until she dies,
Her life is just a chore.

Great poem. I like the idea in it. I think it's more a dark poem than a love one, though... anyways, you are a good writer and I'd love to see more.

    This was pretty good
Granted there was some Simple Rhyme Use.
    It was very well stated
and the emotions was very heartfelt
and for the true emotion and dedication
    you get a 5
    great job
