Still No Answer

by Vacant Expressions   Dec 19, 2006

She is truly alone now
Daddies now long gone
And now she looks back on the year
That it all went wrong

She didnt mean for it to get so bad
This was never her intention
Her insides cringe when she thinks about it
She now wonders if there could have been a prevention

But shes not that spiteful person anymore
She fled from that long ago
The course back has been rough
But she knows change is slow

She would do anything to get her daddy back
She tries hard in school tries to stay alert
But to her own great confusion
Her dearest daddy still treats her like dirt

She sits in bed and wonders why
Her dad wanted to go away
He left her alone without a second though
She assumes he couldnt bare to stay

Her assumptions break her
Just a little more each second of each day
But daddies actions dont help
When he doesnt try to see her in any way

He doesnt call to ask about her report card
Which she tried her best to achieve
He doesnt wish to come and visit either
She fears in change he doesnt believe

When she calls her dear daddy
He doesnt dare answer
No phone calls messages or email
He would do anything just to avoid her

Her confusion takes hold, when she lay in her bed
What wonders what shes done
Or maybe daddies little girl is dead and buried
He only wants his perfect son

His new life without her
And new house, new son and new girlfriend
No more her shes been rejected
But why she just cant comprehend

She acts like its all okay
Like there is not part of her that cares
But being rejected by her own father
Is simply something her heart just cant bare

All she has of her daddy
Are now memories she keeps at bay
She just cant stand to see herself fail
Poor girl repress them another day

Poor little one so broken
Daddies no longer walking distance away
But then again that were daddy wants to be
With everything daddy has now he will stay
