The one dated June 2004
I realized it was at that point in life
I had everything that I wished for.

In that entry I was truly happy
And I couldn't have wished for more.

As I read the words I'd scribbled
About friends, love, laughter and smiles
I realized that I hadn't felt that way
For such a very long while.

As my eyes roamed over the happy words
Tears began pouring down my cheeks
June and July 2004
I had everything that I now seek.

The pages became fuzzy
They were hard to read
Why do I no longer have
The things I want and need?

The tears came faster as I read
About everything that I needed to fix.

I wondered how things got so mixed.

I describe how low I feel
How my heart is heavy like bricks.

I have only one wish, one that is doomed
I wish to go back in time
Back to June or July 2004
When everything was perfect and fine.
