What must it be like to be blind?

What must it be like to be blind?
To never be able to look for what you wish to find
To clutch onto people, needing help to guide your way
Having to only see blackness, day after day
I cant quite imagine, what it must feel like to die
Not seeing your life, flash before your eyes
I cant quite imagine, not seeing a reflection
Having to live with no perfection
How can that happen, in a world that glows with so many colours?
How can someone wish that upon anyone at all?
Not being able to stand up when you fall.
Its something I will never quite understand
Having to live with a constant helping hand
Having so much company most of the time
But feeling so lost and alone.
