God Must Have

God must have known to cover my cries
when he saw the tears flowing from my eyes
So he sent some rain to pour outside
To try to wash away the sadness I hold inside

God must have felt the pain in my heart
Cause he whispered in my ear "make a new start"
He spoke to me through my mind
and told me child love you will find

God must have saw the sorrow look on my face
when I prayed to him to make this pain erase
Cause I feel a little better than what I did yesterday
Now I know God is listening when I pray
