Secrets

by Theresa   Dec 19, 2006

He holds a secret
Kept deep inside
He never comes out
From the closet where he hides.

She has a secret
One she'll never tell
She thinks of the boy
And how very low she fell.

He hides his secret
Underneath his clothes
Every day he wonders
For him, the gender God chose.

She carries her secret
Inside of her tummy
She use to laugh at those teens
But now its not funny.

He's scared of his secret
It'll strike at any time
He winces when you raise your hand
He's definitely not fine.

She's afraid of the secret
Hidden under her sleeve
The scars that won't vanish
The pain that won't leave.

Everyone has secretes
They're hard to protect
It's better not to tell anyone
Your secretes, people will infect.
