Trapped in this place
Reliving her sin
Her spirit cannot rest
And still stirs from within
Darkness stole her soul
And sickened her mind
Any chance of salvation
And peace she couldn’t find
She begged for release
For the freedom of death
But because it wasn’t granted
She did it herself
She spent her whole life
Digging her own grave
By never accepting the world
And the choices she made
And quickly she learned
She had made a grim mistake
For even in death
She could not escape
Everything stayed with her
All of her misery and pain
Not a feeling was forgotten
Not her guilt and shame
So weightless as she is
She is not truly free
For the past does not die
And she’s chained to memories
Now her tormented spirit
Still wanders these halls
And her regretted suicide
Is imprinted in these walls
She’s a lost and confused soul
Just as she was in life
She still can’t find her purpose
And she still cries every night
Her anguish echoes a tale
Of bitter grudges and broken dreams
In her house that she is haunting
Where she suffers eternally
