See You Later

by marilyn marti   Dec 20, 2006

You left our world
and joined the dead
The bullet is still,
stuck in your head
I said goodbye
as you layed in your casket
and left by your side
a rose-filled basket
My heart was heavy
The night was still
The darkness was
too hard to kill
Will we meet
when I close my eyes
Will you leave me lying
in a pool of lies?
I'll see you later
when we're sitting on clouds
when you wake up
from your dreams somehow..

Interesting piece. Started off well. Didn't really like the ending. Overall good job though.
