Two Faced

For me, there's no light at the end of the tunnel
It just goes on and on
There's nothing left, my heart is empty and my soul is gone
The world is a lie
No one says what they truly feel
They hide behind a mask, nothing about them is real
They will say things behind your back all over the place
Their so phony, they can't tell the truth to your face
They try to act like someone their not
Instead of giving the person inside a shot
They have to talk down to you to make themselves feel good
When you know they would be you in a second if they could
They use money and clothes just to get friends
When a TRUE friendship is one that never breaks or bends
On the outside they act so happy but if you look into their heart
Their whole life is crumbling, everything's falling apart
So as I lay down to sleep in a room that's pitch dark
Remember this...don't be fake
Be true to who you are
