Fading

I go through my day
Fading, fading
Nobody notices me
Slowly disappearing

I wander the halls
Streets and houses
Walking through walls
Not caring of my destination

My friends and family
Can not really see
They just see me
As fine as can be

As I smile and walk away
Nobody notices the tear sliding down my face
Nobody can see the hurt that I feel
Just the fake smile they think is real

If it were not for the fact that I know the truth
I would probably believe the lie myself
But the truth is
You are the reason I am fading away
