Celestial Father

by gissell   Dec 21, 2006

In front of everybody i passed out
For all the things that were inside of me
People said, we've lost this kid.

So much pain but I didnt feel a thing
I still Remember the words I could hear.
The voice of a man, screaming my name
"Son, Whats wrong, wake up"
Thats all he could say.

From mouth to mouth he gave my breathing back
With tears falling from his heart
His face showed desperation
It wasnt easy to see me in that condition

And he said, every time
he saw me walking around
"Son whats wrong, wake up,
These drugs are going to kill you sometime"
So one day I decided to walk this life
But not one wanted to walk by my side
the advices of my earthly father werent enough this time
but I had gone too far to go back.

In the middle of that emptiness
I heard that voice again
"listen to what your celestial father has to say"
Im the one who was always with you
when you were left alone to cry.
I held you tight when you fell apart.

I looked out for you from those who in your face said hi
But in your back they laughed at you and cursed you twice
Saying you worth nothing
because you didnt appreciate what you had.

I showed you who the betrayers were,
They even tried to steal your wife.
Those who made money with you
And when they saw how lost you were
They preferred to escape.

I also gave you a sincere family
That's always by your side no matter what
I gave you a father, who saw u dying
and gave your breathing back
But I... I was giving you life.
