My Turn

by Kiara   Dec 21, 2006

So many times I've watched her fall

And I've been her wall throughout it all

She gives so much to be left with so little

She's gone through it all and yet she's able

To pick up the pieces when I sometimes break

She gives so much but all I do is take

But now's the time for me to be her wall

To lean on when she crumbles to catch her when she falls

Somehow I know my words won't make her feel better

But I'mmuh still let her know that I'm here for her

My shoulders are there for her to cry

take her in my arms without askin why

Be her shelter if only for a while

Do what it takes to make that girl smile

Cuz I really love her and I really care

So whenever she needs me, I'll be right there.
