Sleeping beauty

by kiara   Dec 21, 2006

Her casket chamber is where she lives in her dreams
Always waiting her heart screams
Time passes by
Her eyes are shut looking up towards the sky
Shes the modern day sleeping beauty
Waiting to be kissed by the perfect guy
Blue eyes
Which are a virgin to lies
Silky hair
Which pulls in all light and air
A golden heart
That when with hers beats because its the start
Ivy claws reach out and grab her
Feasting upon her youth making old age occur
Golden curls turn into silver strands
Old age now commands
Her once perfect skin
Has met its ugly twin
The flowers around her casket are dead
But at least her lips are still blood red
Shes Sleeping unaware of the changes to her beauty
Then in rides prince charming asking himself why?
His friends sent him on a wild goose chase
Maybe he was at the wrong place
He looked down at her once beautiful face
The blood red lips seemed out of place
He imagined the beauty which used to be
He blew on her lips like the wind over the sea
Then he left her clutched in ivy claws
Slowly being chewed by ages jaws
She shouldnt have waited
But yet if she was awake imagine how many tears she wouldâ??ve created
