Without You

by Rebecca   Dec 21, 2006

The days are very long,
Ever since you have been gone.
Weeks feel like prolonged years,
Even through my austere tears.

Watching the sunset is not the same,
Nor is dancing in the untainted rain.
Your warm smile is miles away,
But that distance is not a long stay.

I cannot wait for that special day,
When you will finally be here to stay.
But, I need to remain tough,
And keep myself busy with stuff.

I know these painful days will come to an end,
And I will be able to completely mend.
Living here is not the same without you,
But, please know I miss and love you, too.
