Not one moment has passed

by Sid Quinsaat   Dec 22, 2006

Not one moment has passed
That it's not crossed my mind
That it's not consumed me inside

Ever travelling a road, unexplored
Turning every stone, hoping
For a hint at to why
It curses me.

Not one moment has passed
Where it's made sense to me
Where it's come remotely close

This unending craving, unquenched
Thirsting ever more, wondering
However had this fell upon
My pathetic soul.

Not one moment has passed
In which it's gone away
In which I want it still

No longer must I hold this, contumaciously
Hoping that one day it would change
Adamantly unrelentingly trying
To make it change...

Ever will I abide,
But never will it abdicate.
