Why did I do it?

The reason I let loose
I still cant figure out.

As the lights burned out
And as you slowly walked away
I waited a little while for you
Hoping for a better day.

I made a terrible mistake

Although I hear is

But doing that is really hard
It's something I just cannot do
Doing that would retrieve my biggest fear of losing you.
