As I stand in the doorway between heaven and hell
I try to realise why we all fell
But in my mind I try to convince myself that all is just fine
Yet there should be no wastage, no more lack of time
Because our hearts out there aren't open,
No one cares about the other
So we need to find common ground amongst ourselves
For there are too many people from all racial colours
Trying to fit in with one and each other
Now how do we search for all glory and honour?
There's no more faith, no more grace,
Only prejudice towards others
And so all our hearts are forever walking
The different people all want to say something
But you see, that's the problem, we're all just talking
Yet is all this real, this lack of zeal?
Are there moments in this world that we cannot define
Why man's efforts to be good just fall off the line
And if you look at one another, at all our splits
Is there really an honest face that with faith never quits?
The world is full of evil and there's no one good around
Only the pile leading to hell that just constantly abounds
But are we all just Black Jesus, White Devils
Satan's harvesters or just worthless martyrs?
For all our expressions we really need to solve
Our only problem is that we're all still trying to evolve
And in truth we cannot live, mercy no longer give
Yet we all seem to line up for death's lack of valour
Is there no more glory, no gracious story?
Of great empowering hearts trying to change our times?
No, we are all just lying in a concession of rhymes
But in these times of emotions and heartache
We need to gather ourselves together so we don't all break
And there exists no more a conscience inside of us
Instead our roots all just return straight to the dust
Nothings worth living anymore, not even wealth can save us
Like a dime in a dozen, do you find a rich man today
And yet the path is set for the rest of us that way
So the streets are scattered with too many who lie broke
Like a tragic story, this has no joke
But we all live like White Devils, Black Jesus
When heaven closes and hell freezes
For none of us have any sense of righteous morals
Rather we all just live together amongst hearts as hard as corals
Will there ever be a point in our distorted future
When all our different colours combine in one culture
A time for prosperity, for all to be unified
When no more bitter roots emanate from inside our hearts
Peacefully we then can live, without wars and horrors to haunt us
A time when everyone is filled with one great love
Equally we treat each other; togetherness fits like a glove
But I ask you, what will it take
To fill the world with all this grace?
How much longer does man have to suffer in this putrid graveyard?
How much longer do we have to crawl back to our own vomit?
And how much longer must we just stand here and watch?
Things will not change, until we take the pain
Die for one another to make the gain
For what are we in this big global struggle
Pawns used for defence or queens for the sacrifice?
But aren't we all just Black Jesus, White Devils
We all just stand in a queue to sign Satan's charter
There are times of consequence to be made in our lives
For us to open up our hearts and get cut by the knives
Our eyes need to open, so we can look at each other
Realise in our hearts that we are all truly brothers
No separation, no sign of depreciation
Just one human race, fighting to stay alive
So arm in arm, we need to defend our humanity
Cry out to the Lord, to end our insanity
A deep medication is needed for all our souls
Cure from this disease of death and neglect
Yet like cowards we live in our own disguise
No need to grow further, for it's our own death that we taste
So is all this real, this lack of zeal?
Because it's just that word, word, word,
That word that you've heard
A rejection of the truth do we constantly make
We refuse the only cure and in death we go on
For arrogance consumes all our greatest desires
But to unite will just heal our souls from the fires
The answer has been given and our bill has been paid
But like fools we all just continue to fade
Aren't we all just White Devils, Black Jesus?
Our humanity is dead and all life ceases
In our own righteousness we will fall to the grave
No longer a desire to our needs save
For Godly men live up within our ranks
Queuing to go to hell, their sin never ends
We're all just Black Jesus; White Devils
Satan's harvesters and just worthless martyrs
