I Know

Does anyone know what it's like
to fall so low you cant feel anymore
you're numb, paralyzed
and you honestly don't care?
it's like no matter how many times you're talked to
the many discussions people have with you
they tell you you'll be fine
but you're in denial and aren't listening
taking the knife to your legs, arms, and anywhere else where blood will be drawn
stress relieved
no more pain
you're free
to face another day full of undying stress and carelessness

    Hi that was a very touching poem, my cousin has depression and i have seen her go through all of the things you talk about in the poem. i am her strength when she is down and we are very close, keep writing as it is a good release

    I've have chronic depression, so I think I might know how you feel. I know what it's like to have people look at me and see only what they want to see. Find faith.
