Lost you

Your time has come,
You have slipped away,
And this is when,
Nobody knows what to say.

There are no words,
To heal the pain,
That our heavy hearts,
Silently sub stain.

And although it was expected,
We still can't believe you're gone.

It still hurts,
So damn much,
And it's so sad,
That you have fallen out of touch.

And the last time I saw you,
Flashed through my mind,

And it hasn't sunk in yet,
The fact that you're gone,
And I know that it's natural,
But I'm not feeling strong.

And there is a funeral to come,
And a lot more sorrow,
I'll still feel the same,
When I wake to face tomorrow.

And I'll still remember you,
Along with the tears that I cry,
And I'll miss you,
As time passes me by.
