A Baby

Can it be true?
A baby for me and you

To hold and caress
Love and to dress

At our age is it really true?
A baby for me and you

I worry in thought
of our lives passing on
and now to hear the cries
of a babys sweet song

For me and for you
is it really true?

Fear raises it head
as I think I'm too old
The yearning in my
soul longs to be told.

For me to conceive
How precious is he
A baby for you and me

So many emotions
words can not express
A baby for us to love
to hold, we are truly blessed...

    Awwwh. This was so very sweet.
    It made me smile in delight.
    Congratulations on being pregnant!
    My sister is only three, I remember when she was first born, there is nothing that gives greater delight than a baby.
    I thought this was well written and flowed very well.
