Being Beautiful

She tries much too hard
She worries more than she should
They way she treats herself
I know it just can not be good

She puts on make-up in layers
She does her hair so much it comes out
She will be beautiful when she leaves
Of this, she has no doubt

She doesn't eat anything through the day
And she plays up the definition of hot
She has to try to be beautiful
And everyday, be something she's not

She wears clothes so very tight
Just to look like a model girl
She exercises every few minutes
To be the skinniest in the world

    Yeah, a lot of girls feel like this.

    Beautiful poem and so true. I really hope this isn't about you though because everyone is perfect the way they are, you're a wonderful person and poet. It's a shame most girls do this though because the good qualities they have, no one else sees. Wonderful. 5/5.
