So far i haven't heard of a cure for a broken heart
One thats been torn apart
Wont be fixed
And your heart is still transfixed
On that person
Sometimes broken hearts are put back together
Making it full of laughter
You never thought or dreamed of again
When its put back together by that person you hold dear
You know that you can trust them
To keep your heart safe
Since they cared enough to heal that mangled thing
And sometimes you must shed a tear
At how that "thing" could turn into something everyone could love
And then you know you'll have a better year
Since that one person showed some love and compassion for something almost dead and gone
